Andre Ketter co-founded Rapid Technology Incorporated in 1999 with Nicole Ketter. Andre is determined to grow the company and provide his customers with superior technical service. As chief consultant, he is driven to providing all customers with superior Networking, Telecommunications, and Engineering services.

Andre has displayed leadership in his past accomplishments. Prior to starting Rapid Technology, Andre worked for the University of Virginia where he managed the University's Dial-in service. He was responsible for upgrading and maintaining all Cisco access servers and 3Com modem racks. While at UVA, he increased the reliability of the service and managed to reduce the capital investment made on new equipment. He was also involved with the day-to-day operations of the University's ATM and Switched Ethernet Network.

Before Andre came to the University of Virginia, he spent 6 years as a Senior Systems Engineer for Rockwell Automation in their Allen-Bradley Division. Andre worked on several automation projects for customers such as Dup ont, Philip Morris and Ford Motor Company. He managed an engineering startup that consisted of 2 million dollars worth of hardware and software at Tuscalloosa Steel. Andre's experience in PLC's, AC/DC drives and Servo controls has enabled him to increase the productivity of his clients hence earning him the Rockwell team award for his work on AK Steel Continuous Caster.

Andre spent 5 years at the Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. As a student, Andre studied Computers and Logic Design, which has enabled him to integrate his education into his work. Andre also worked at the university's research instruments department where he repaired and tested electronic equipment used by research departments around the university.

Andre continued his education by completing the Networking Specialist Certificate from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. He took courses in Unix, Novel and Business Telecommunications. During that time, Andre achieved his Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified Network Associate Certifications.
